The Renewable Energy Conversion Laboratory at the University of Florida (UF) is seeking to hire a postdoctoral researcher in the area of concentrating solar thermal (CST) and solar fuels. Prior experience related to experimentation and modeling of thermochemical reactions is highly desired, as well as expertise in heat transfer, chemical reaction engineering, solar thermal engineering and techno-economics.
The applicant is expected to mentor graduate and undergraduate students, be responsible for project reporting to funding agencies, disseminate results in high-impact, peer-reviewed journal publications and attend international conferences and workshops to disseminate their work.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. (or expected within 6 months) in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or comparable.
