Renewable Hydrogen For Export Funding Round
Deadline for submissions is February 28, 2018
Following a positive response to our recent Exporting Renewable Hydrogen RFI, we are opening an R&D funding round from 20 December 2017 to 5pm AEDT 28 February 2018.
ARENA will be inviting a broad range of R&D applications, from early stage R&D (TRL 2) through to demonstration of R&D technology (TRL 6), and through all stages of an export supply chain.
The objective of this funding round is to accelerate the development of a potential renewable energy export supply chain, centred around hydrogen and related carrier materials. Eligible projects will include hydrogen production, conversion to a carrier or substance suitable for export, and transformation into energy at point-of-use.
We have allocated up to $20 million to support the round, with applicants able to apply for $500,000 to $5 million in grant funding.
Please note that project dates must fall between 1 July 2018 – 31 Jan 2022, with a maximum project length being 3.5 years.
